Daily Duties at Fred's:
Directed all aspects of pharmacy operations, staffing, and inventory management. Supervised, trained, and evaluated 8 technicians. Communicated daily with patients and counseled on medication, dosing schedule, side effects, and contraindications. Contacted third-party insurance carriers on behalf of the patient to resolve payment/ coverage issues. Contacted physicians' offices for patient refills or problem prescriptions. Provided weekly report to distict manager that included sales, prescriptions filled, and technician hours used.
