Daily Duties at Gsa Schedule Us:

I managed six territory sales representatives covering five states in the southeast US. Assist small, minority-owned, woman-owned and HUB Zone businesses in securing Federal contract opportunities with the General Services Administration (GSA). Responsibilities included: • Wrote business plan outlining duties, roles, responsibilities and compensation plans for initial field staff including monthly and annual sales projections. Based on submitted plan, company elected to move forward with the proposed regional model utilizing two test-site territories (Atlanta and Denver). • Recruited, hired and trained nine sales candidates in the southeast. • Assimilated training manual and all Federal Government website resource materials, • Conducted training, • Coordinated all weekly reporting, • Conducted field staff conference calls, • Traveled extensively with field personnel to increase their level of understanding and competencies, • Generated more than 500+ qualified leads of companies considering an expansion of business with GSA, • Coordinated with multiple Procurement Technical Training Centers (PTAC) and SBA offices located in southeast to expand qualified business contracting opportunities, • Attended more than one dozen PTAC and SBA business conferences, and • Coordinated the on-site processing of mandatory data collection required to complete GSA Schedule application.
