Promoted to direct a 3-member analyst team and the business’ large annual transportation budget in the management of freight carrier contracts in support of the organization’s expansive transportation needs. Established and continually assessed carrier performance and pricing against quality metrics, providing in-depth reporting to field fleet managers. Continually pursued opportunities to reduce freight costs and create economies of scale. Recruited and negotiated contracts with carriers. Managed Data integity for transportation management system(Manugistics).
