Daily Duties at Multi National Corps Iraq:

Reviewed classified and unclassified sensitive documents for disclosure to coalition partners in Iraq and Iraqi forces. Interpreted and enforced National Disclosure Policy-1 (NDP-1) U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) disclosure policy and presidential directives in the release of operational and intelligence information to coalition partners. Evaluated daily Multi-National Forces Iraq (MNF-I) and Multi-National Corps Iraq (MNC-I) briefings, orders and documents for sensitive information prior to release or broadcast. Coordinated downgrade of classified military information (CMI) for use by coalition partners in Iraq, law enforcement task forces, and international organizations working in the constructs of the Global War on Terror. Protected sensitive sources and methods. Assisted Information Assurance (IA) and security officer with investigations regarding improper handling and storage of CMI. Assisted U.S. legal personnel with the review of information related to criminal, insurgent, and terrorist investigations for trial within Iraq. Advised Public Affairs on disclosure issues prior to release of information for media outlets. Sanitized and disseminated Iraqi Air Force’s Air Tasking Order for daily operations. TRAINING MANAGER Trained foreign disclosure officers (FDO) and foreign disclosure representatives (FDR) throughout the Iraqi Theater of Operations (ITO). Drafted FDO/FDR authorization letters acknowledging specific training and level of authority granted to trained individuals. Tracked and monitored FDO/FDR currencies through Excel spreadsheets, Word documents and hard-copy files. Performed daily and monthly maintenance of available files. Updated training briefs based on changes in NDP-1 and USSENTCOM policies as well as national and theater-based directives.
