Daily Duties at Gen Con Llc:

In charge of all office management, operations, human resource management, payroll, procurement, contracts, and logistics for the largest hobby game convention and event organizer in the US. Gen Con LLC hosts 2 general shows per year, and the Star Wars Celebration conventions every other year in conjunction with Lucas Films LTD. Convention attendance averages 6K to 36K. Collaborated with the CEO, CFO, EVP, and Event Management Team in establishing organization, goals and objectives during startup; developed all human resource policies and procedures. Held full P&L responsibility for office operations, show logistics, host city negotiations, staff, volunteer, and VIP travel and transportation, as well as logistics for 5K convention events. Manage $300K budget for housing, travel, conventions and office operations; convention budgets average $100K to $300K. Orchestrated convention wide "Block" and "Exhibitor" parties for more than 4 thousand attendees. Additionally, supervise and train more than 100 volunteers in key positions, arranged 800 event organizer's housing and managed the database for volunteer networking, expense tracking and reconciliation.
