Managed developers and contractors for new construction and rehabilitation projects. Projects were mostly high-rise condos with retail space, garage wraps, large parking structures and a couple of big box commercial. Total aggregate value over $ 800,000,000.00. Establish project planning standards and details, and review construction documentation including plans for conformance. Managed multiple projects throughout the country simultaneously. Responsible for all day to day construction activities for each project including quality issues. Reviewed project documentation nationwide for architecture standards and design quality. Through extensive travel, worked closely with onsite construction management personnel tracking schedules, subcontractors, tracking project budgets and lead value engineering efforts when necessary and conducting inspections. Reviewed and approved Pay Applications and Change Orders. Developed a milestone inspection process for quality control. These inspections were responsible for saving millions of dollars in construction defects and reducing capital expenditures in the future. Monitored mold growth and coordinated remediation practices with industrial hygienists. Participated in rewriting of the Specification Manual that was implemented into each contract for developer adherence.
