Daily Duties at Greystone Group :

Was hired in the middle of a $250,000,000. development in San Diego, Ca. (The Promenade at Rio Vista) I was directly responsible for the development of 6 - 200+ unit, 4 story apartment buildings with two level subterranean parking garages under each building. Four of the buildings have retail space on the ground levels. Amenities include a full gym, business center, leasing offices, train station for San Diego Metro, Fish Market restaurant, wine bar, coffee house, dry cleaners, hair salon, postal annex and a promenade area with a $60,000 water feature. Two buildings were already built when I got there and I closed them out and turned them over to Property Management. Duties were contract negotiations, review and approve pay applications and change orders, tracking project budgets and maintaining the production schedule and quality control. I maintained a hands-on team atmosphere to ensure quality. I oversaw one Admin person, four Superintendents, four Assistant Superintendents and fifteen laborers along with numerous sub-contractors.
