Daily Duties at Kb Home Coastal :
I worked closely with design professionals throughout the conception of each community to ensure working drawings are complete with no conflicts. I oversaw forward planning through permit process and conducted meetings with each city to establish Conditions of Approval. I put together all project schedules and was responsible for the buy-out process including writing scopes of work and contract negotiations. I wrote the specifications to plan procedures for construction and dictated the staffing requirements for each phase of construction including the hiring of field personnel for each community. Responsible for the construction of buildings and common areas. Direct and assist construction personnel in the planning, scheduling and execution of construction project work, including implementation of training modules for each individual to build stronger teams. I ordered tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform with work schedules. Conferred with and directed subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays. I resolved all construction problems and improved construction methods. I inspected work in progress to ensure that work conformed to specifications and that construction schedules were adhered to. I prepared reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusted work schedules as indicated by reports.
