Daily Duties at U.S.Dept Of Transportation (Volpe Center):
Input trouble calls via a Call Tracking database and update daily to support troubleshooting network connectivity, IP conflicts and all remote desktop applications, including SRA & VPN, both over the phone & remotely with end users. Experience with Juniper SSL VPN & Firewalls. Supported special projects by assisting System Administrators via deploying weekly patches including Windows/Office updates & service packs. Maintained user accounts on Active Directory and Endpoint encryption Groups and Devices based on instructions. Design/develop scalable scripts & tools for weekly patch deployments. Maintained hardware and software on Desktops and laptops including installation and configuration. Eased employee setup with data migration. Provide network access involving DHCP, DNS, WINS, LAN, WAN. Fluent with XP,7, Linux, UNIX and the entire Office XP suites.
