Daily Duties at Construction Management And Design Llc:

Provided full time leadership of the project management team on projects from $50 million to well over $100 million. Required frequent high level interaction with the Owner. Ensure that all aspects of CM&D services are being delivered at the highest level to ensure that the Owner is satisfied. Responsible for the overall project direction and managing the day-to-day project activities. Prepare, manage monitors, and maintain comprehensive budgets, schedules and cash flow projections. Establish and implement a quality assurance and quality control program. Leading project meetings, liaises with the Owner, and makes presentations to the Owner’s executive management team. Prepare RFP and bid packages and follow through on the solicitation, evaluation of proposals, and selection of the architect, other consultants and the contractor/s. Manage the design effort and ensure the project is being designed to meet the Owner’s objectives and budget. During the design management process, prepare estimates and performing value engineering analyses, peer reviews and constructability reviews. Responsible for the processing of clarifications, submittals, RFI’s, shop drawings, substitution requests, change proposals, and change orders. Review and approve monthly payment requests including lien waivers before certification by the architect and payment by the Owner. Oversee and manage, with the project team, the work of the contractor/s. Project management of a three tower high-rise project consisting of offices, restaurants and condos. Tower 1000 with a total of 56 floors, Tower 2000 with a total of 48 floors, Tower 3000 with a total of 10 floors including 2 levels of underground parking. Tower 1000 and 2000 had 13 levels of parking including the two levels underground throughout the entire project. Most of our clients lost funding or went out of business and I was laid off.
