Daily Duties at Iowa Health Home Care:
Developed and worked along with HR Team members to execute the annual HR plan. Directed human resource staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of tactical duties and projects according to the HR strategic plan. Point person for the on-boarding of new business units as part of the state-wide expansion concept. Directed state-wide employment activities, assuring that properly qualified employees are recruited and hired for company positions. Team member of the state-wide HR Roundtable, contributing input on policies proposed, programs suggested and policies put forth at a system level. Hiring Process owner involving many process improvements. Carried out tactical hiring requests for corporate positions, clinical openings, and state-wide positions as business and patient needs required. Selected employee engagement strategies to guide the communication of the importance of a union free environment to the employees. Process owner for disciplinary and termination proceedings. Assured that company employment policies and personnel practices complied with the applicable provisions of federal and state labor laws. Approved and/or established wage structure, pay policies, and performance appraisal programs in partnership with compensation specialist. Directed the worker’s compensation and HR programs, policies, benefits and compensation. Consulted with executives, leaders, and managers regarding various HR issues.
