As the CEO my responsibilies include getting current owners to understand they are being delusional to carry their current strategy forward. Immediate action is required to turn back PO'S that have been evaluated as projects bearing unsatisfactory gross margins.Two orders have been projected to lose $500,000 if carried out to fulfill delivery.Negotiated service contract are put in place to supply fab/machine/assembly labor as supporting supplier thus giving up tier one status. Resulting in immediate profit capture in a satisfactory labor and engineering rate to make profit.Foersic costvs. sell price is put in to action for second largest revenue stream. This action results in uncovering 55 losing part numbers in a 75 part assembly. Customer is notified with data that allows defensible narrative to achieve immediate price changes that affect profitability for hood assemblies. Resulting in a profit average of 25% instead of losing 36% perassembly.therefore changing cash flow from what was $247,000 to a profit bearing result of $380,000. These changes gave ownership the confidence to to execute an immediate strategy to follow our forensiccost model through all existing PO'S as well as follow the the same methodology through evert quote thereafter.Results improved cash flow so significantly the company was able to relif itself from workout, missed covenants within a six month time frame.
