Daily Duties at The Usf Group:
Plan inbound freight loads with outbound departure schedules for maximum profit and time service agreements. Plan and direct staff of fifty employees consisting of office labor, dock workers, local city drivers, and line haul drivers. Coordinate freight schedules with outbound destination facilities for fastest, cost effective delivery methods. Adhere to DOT, OSHA, FDA, and corporate operating regulations. Maintain safe operating equipment for employees and safe working environment. Increase billing rate for BOL's, maximize outbound revenue through effective load volume, and sustain employee engagement for operational success.
