Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations. Conduct reference and background checks on applicants. Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants. Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection. Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures. Hire applicants and authorize paperwork assigning them to positions. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives. Monitor budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. Count money and make bank deposits.
