Daily Duties at Blue Ridge Hospice :
Met each assigned patient and family to develop a specific plan of care, explain Hospice benefit, provide pain management and symptom contol assessment, counsels patient and family members on death and dying process, support family members at time of death and provide initial breavement support. Keep Phycians appraised of patient status, collaborate with team members, complete necesszry documentation, supervise Home Health Aids. Act as preceptor for Nursing students. Provide field orientation for medical students and volunteers. Participate in community outreach activities
