Daily Duties at Doctors Community Hospital:
•Directed a staff of 21 responsible for all Materials Management operations for a 190 licensed bed facility with $30 Million in yearly spending (through Premier/Prime GPO) for medical/surgical supplies, services and equipment. •Functioned as project leader on an $80 Million new facility expansion initiative which generated a direct savings of $480,000 in Furniture/ Fixture/ Equipment (FTE), $780,000 in Imaging and $287,000 in medical/surgical supply cost. •Managed a $25 Million existing building renovation project and all procurement, storeroom, mail/print shop and clinical engineering (contract) operations. •Served as Chairperson for the Value Analysis Committee and was an active committee member for Corporate Compliance, Continued Quality Improvement (CQI), Green Initiative, and Standardization teams. •Authored and implemented department and hospital-wide policy and procedures. •Developed broad experience interacting with physicians and executive staff for hospital-wide operational and cost saving initiatives. •Selected as a key Doctors Community Hospital (DCH) Foundation Committee member for all fundraising activities, including an Invitational Golf Tournament, Black Tie Ball and all internal departmental activities.
