Daily Duties at City Of Fayetteville:
Manage program / project operations, a $4M annual budget, 4 supervisors, and 65 team members for roadway maintenance, storm drainage system maintenance and repairs. Develop and implement strategies to maximize cost containment, safety, quality, efficiency, and alignment with regulations / work schedules. Direct procurement of materials and services; review all invoices. Perform worksite inspections to assess quality and progress toward goals; devise plans to address shortcomings in collaboration with site supervisors. Enhance maintenance of division’s vehicles / equipment in cooperation with the QA technician. Cultivate strong relationships with contractors (in areas including paving, guardrails, and concrete), other municipal departments, and local population. Oversee resolution of issues / complaints at jobsites and from citizens. Ensure employee proficiency with respect to equipment, OSHA requirements, and CPR / First-Aid.
