Daily Duties at Owsley County Health Care Center:

Supervised the Nursing Dept. Did interviews, hiring in the Nursing Dept,was involved with the schedule, Supervised Nursing Staff, Ensured the Facility was in compliance with State Regulations as published by the OIG, particpated in the Survey Process which during my employment with recieved only minor deficiences and one yr. was deficiency free which is an honor itself. I also address any Resident, Family and/or Employee Concerns, worked with the Administrator in decision making, participated and led the IDT A.M. Meetings as well as participated in the QA Process. Worked with the Medical Director as needed, and interacted with our Pharmacy Services, reviewed all potential admissions to the facility to ensure that the facility could provide the level of care indicated. These are only a few of the many many responsibilities of the Director of Nursing
