Daily Duties at Align Technology:
Developed new procedures and work instructions for on-site staff and production staff in Mexico. Prepared and modified contracts. Provided ROI analysis and program managed R&D and production improvement efforts. Counseled and trained new supply chain staff. Created supplier accountability metrics and approved supplier list. Drove NPI material supply readiness. Directed development and implementation of MRP software (JD Edwards). Led supplier meetings, developed contingencies to mitigate single sourcing and initiated corrective actions with poor performing suppliers. Led detailed project efforts, mechanical modifications and qualification of new materials utilizing domestic and international suppliers. Managed multiple projects, multi-discipline activities, contractors and multi-site staff. Reviewed E & O and PPV reconciliations.
