Daily Duties at Gwf Power Systems:
Responsible for the daily operatons of fluidized Bed Combustor and 23 megawatt turbine/generator with a by-pass steam to condensor operation to offset turbine/generator operating issues or to conduct Reliability Testing.Conducted Boiler water chemistry and maintained proper phosphate levels in the boiler water.Conducted Reliability and Preventative Maintenance Testing on all auxilliary equipment documenting results. Conducted rounds and logged all equipment readings and variances. Maintained cooling tower and closed cooling loop systems. Recomended Operational Work Procedural changes.Held Safety and Job Briefings with Plant Personnel and contractors implementing a safe working enviroment and a timely manner of work completion.Coordinated contractor actvities.Maintained Hazardous Waste control. Recorded inventories and ordered as needed. Operated a Reverse Osmosis System ensuring clean make-up water to the dearator.
