Daily Duties at Anthem (Wellpoint Inc):
Supervise, intervene, and correct any deviation in the dispensing area handling during second shift - up to 12,000 orders. This included everything from handling math errors affecting the Narcotics (CII) logbook to locating a single(or multiple)package having mixed tablets as reported by dispensing pharmacists. The included the final determination whether trucks could leave with packaged drugs(problem located and corrected) or whether a return trip was warranted. A return trip by shippers was expensive due to company personnel required to finish a large correction. Reports of Night Shift quality issues were required to be written and left for the Quality director for discussion the following day
