Effectively controlled and coordinated all Operations of Power Generation including four high pressure boilers and four turbine/ generators and directed plant personnel to their duties during upset and normal operating conditions. Controlled the operation of four ionic exchange units and analyzed boiler chemistry results and took corrective action to maintain operating parameters. Coordinated LOTO Procedures and and worked as a laison between contractors and management. Worked within all EPA and OSHA mandates. Promoted safety as a integral part of the Safety Committee. Rectified all operating issues resulting from load changes, equipment failure,and fuel problems. Conducted the synchronization of generators to the grid via a common bus connected to a transformer. Operated Four GE turbines on back pressure control supplying extraction steam for pulp/paper manufacturing processes.
