Daily Duties at Webster University:

As a member of the senior management team, managed personnel responsible for post-production facilities and field acquisition equipment for 5 production programs: Audio, Video, Film, Photography and As a member of the management team, strategically collaborated with School of Communications Assistant Dean, Program Chair and production faculty to attract new majors to the School of Communications five media production programs: Audio, Video, Film, Photography and Broadcast. Additionally, oversaw intuitions technology needs for classroom, special events and production facilities and satellite instructional content. • Spearheaded benchmark studies and business plans to attract new students and increase their marketability in chosen field of study. • Assessed curriculum needs and proposed relevant technical specifications for seamless migration to non-linear workflow in accordance to master plan. • Developed effective relationships with end-users and stayed abreast of best technology and vendors to support each curriculum with content capture and editing software. •Made relevant program assessment and technology recommendations for each curriculum to the academic project team. • Efficiently managed budgets of $100,000 plus, solicited bids for purchases, negotiated favorable pricing and contracts • Oversaw multiple simultaneously accruing curriculum projects. • Provided status reports to senior management. • Point of contact for the business and creative process for all projects. • Managed the daily operations of facility and staff; including the development of effective operational policies and procedures.
