Daily Duties at Lockheed/Martin:
Using F16 electical diagrams and the system capabilities of the plane, we created consoles and simulators where avionic software could be developed and tested. Also built cockpit simulators for pilot training. At Hill AFB, I designed and built several laboratories and the equipment that populated them. As money for research dried up, I moved into QA activity for the avionic software programs. Attended peer reviews comprised of seven subsystem engineers, reviewed requirements and capability enhancements, and performed high level Pilot/Vehicle testing.
