Daily Duties at Carlisle Research Inc:
Design and testing of client-server application from COBOL to a PowerBuilder/Oracle platform. I worked with the system representatives to define the new business practices going forward and the application forms that would serve their purposes. In this maintenance system, there are many external interfaces that update the application databases to keep all the client-server interfaces updated. I recoded many of these interfaces so that they would update our database correctly. Designed a testsystem which included data to demonstrate system worthiness and obtain customer release.
