Daily Duties at Affordable Window Treatments:
I launched this business after discovering the poor customer service the industry was offering. As an independent company I representative several manufacturer, selling DSC, Hunter Douglas, and other producers of quality custom window coverings. I researched commercial and residential markets, develop creative marketing techniques, and establish new accounts. Through setting up a strategic marketing plan to regularly visit potential ‘Strategic Business Partners’ (SBP) I was able to create a steady stream of leads. The SBP were Realtors, Builders, Property Managers and Remodelers to name a few. I prepared my own financial analyses, budgets, and performance data. Within 4-months of operations I was in the ‘black’ and continued to be a profitable entity.
