Daily Duties at Us Navy:
Provided company and platoon level medical support for Marine Corps personnel, as well as medical readiness for the unit as well. This included record verification, immunizations, physical health assessments and screenings, routine sick call and emergency medical treatment. In 2005, the unit was deployed to the Al Anbar province of Iraq to clear and hold the Haditha-Hit corridor. During this time, I was promoted from platoon Corpsman to company level. As the company Corpsman, I managed 9 junior personnel as well as patient tracking for over 150 injured personnel. I completed the FMF warfare designator PQS during 2005. I was awarded a Flag Letter of Commendation and Navy Achievement medal with combat V during this period.
