TRANSPORTATION / LOGISTICS MANAGER 2001 to 2004 Managed all global track & trace of finished goods from manufacturer or distribution center to retail stores and end-users. • Negotiated pricing and service agreements to gain over $3 million annually in savings or dividends (Annual budget = $150m). • Managed Export Compliance Department, including inbound and outbound shipments for third-party logistics providers which resulted in annual savings of $2 million - based on an annual spend of $27m. • Organized processes for ISO certification and oversaw regulatory updates for NAFTA. •Provided monthly analysis of transportation performance for each distribution center. •Identified root causes for high costs or poor service (less than 98.5% on-time delivery) and developed action plans to address and improve customer experience. •Led monthly and quarterly review meetings with carriers and service providers.
