Daily Duties at Eds / Hp Enterprise Services:
Working on UNIX, AIX, Netezza and Windows servers. I've monitor on-line servers using Server Ping Client, NetIQ Alerts, Trendmicro ServerProtect for Windows security updates, TSM and vRangerPro backups. Re-run missed TSM backups on UNIX, AIX, Netezza and Windows servers. Software used: Avocent DSview to connect to Windows servers, VMware Infrastructure Client to connect to Virtual Windows servers. Ensure that all the Computer Operations functions are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in developing and enforcing policies and procedures. Interface with vendor field engineers to resolve hardware related problems. Assist customers with Computer Operations concerns. Assist in disaster recovery.
