Daily Duties at 78 Cs/Scbs:
Managed, trained, and employed corps of 3 civilians and up to 25 military help desk (HD) technicians. Oversaw customer trouble calls, provided technical support, and monitored Network Control Center (NCC) command, control communications and information systems. Helpdesk is primary point of contact for 24/7/365 technical support to 23K base personnel across 6 MAJCOMs, 2 operational flying units, and over 30 associate units. Supervised analysis of customer data to determine exact nature of communications, hardware or software problems. Managed trouble ticket data entry into Remedy database, ensuring effective and efficient corrective action initiated on all reported problems. Ensured technicians implemented approved troubleshooting techniques before assigning tickets to other sections.
