Daily Duties at 9 Space Warning Squadron/Afspacecom:
Performed software configuration management to verify and maintain configuration integrity and acceptability of software delivered to the 9th Space Warning Squadron. Investigated and corrected procedures to enhance the SPACETRACK mission, as well as identify causes of false missile warning events. Evaluated PAVE PAWS software performance to find deficiencies and recommend corrections. Designed, created and tested system simulation media to support training, operational test/evaluation, and overall Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment system tests. Developed and maintained error and recording databases to track and pinpoint software deficiencies and data recording actions. Analyzed situations involving threat assessment of missile warning events identifying causes and if necessary, code corrections.
