Daily Duties at Novartis:

Assay sera from the MenB primate study comparing different antigen/adjuvant combinations in rhesus macaques. Completed high throughput SBA development using the Tecan Freedom evo plate reader and mouse samples. Began using macaque samples. Perform MenACWY serum complement collection/shipments to the Marburg laboratory. Performed bactericidal assays to measure the level of bactericidal antibodies to Neisseria meningitidis using rabbit complement and mouse sera which have been previously performed at GNF in San Diego or from the Formulations group in Cambridge. Develop universal complement source. Assess feasibility of removing IgG from human plasma without loss of intrinsic complement activity.
