I was responsible for all areas of fleet management not limited to but including; DOT Compliance, Driver compliance for both DOT and non-regulated or non-DOT specific vehicles, reviewed and approved all maintenance/services performed on any vehicle older than 3 years or that had more accrued more than 50000 miles. I also managed licensing, registration and proper inspection of vehicle (hands on and per reports from 2nd party service provider. Additional I was responsible for and managed the fuel utilization program to ensure proper fueling along with potential no theft or misuse of program. Actively participated in weekly/bi-weekly safety calls making suggestion and providing written and power point presentations on safety and its importance too ARAMARK and the general public. Initiated & ensured all vehicles were on the Driver's Alert Safety program (How Is My Driving) followed up and replied to all complaints with Driver's Alert or local management and drivers as required.
What they like about Aramark:
You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.
