•Hands-on working manager for a five person team of systems administrators •Planned and led implementation of new software and hardware rollouts including creating schedules for office visits, technician availability and equipment purchases •Participated in desktop build testing and approvals for new hardware and software for workstations and servers •Managed all mail server functionality including user address, address books and mail list maintenance •Vendor point of contact for hardware and software purchases •Hands-on, remote and second level technical support for over 800 Windows XP users including 3rd party software issues •Created and managed user and group accounts in Active Directory. •Built and supported Windows Server 2003 and rack mounting of network equipment •Installed network printers on servers as well as workstation rollout
