Daily Duties at Archdiocese Of New York:

Hired and supervise data coordinator to ensure accurate and timely response to data requests. Maintain oversight over data coordinator personnel Monitor vendor compliance with milestones and compliance to specified standards for student information system, on-line census and principal assessment tool. Create support documentation to support end users in using Student Information System, collaborative services, assessment tool and as needed to support any new technologies or training intiatives. Provide on-site training in lab setting to support Student Information System, assessment tool and any technology releated requests. Provide large group instruction (lecture) to support learning Student Information System and new technology initiatives. Serve as liason between end-users,vendor,and Archdiocese data center to ensure functionality of systems as well as monitor end user issues. Train office staff in Office 2003/Office 2007 Design Training Plans to develop school level staff technology skills with particular emphasis on Office skills Hire and supervise support desk to assist in training and support of student information system Monitor milestones to ensure accurate development of software and monitor functionality. Load student testing scores (Iowa Test of Basic Schools ITBS) Process requests for data reports. Look for technology solutions to address department needs. Maintain budget for Student Information System. Monitor revenue and expenses just under one million dollars. Initiated web-based conferencing system to train users eliminating costly onsite visits to schools. Successfully implemented web-based census in 2009/2010, streamlining inefficient collection method. Created relationships with new vendors to bring additional technologies into school environment to enhance technology and curriculum integration. Set up and monitor procedures to ensure compliance with state education directives and ensure seamless integration with state data warehouse. Provide data integration (datauploads) between Student Information System and Emergency Notification System. Send Emergency alerts when necessary.
