Daily Duties at Northrop Grumman Shipbuilder Gc:
DD(X) Member of the Design Agent Team for the Advanced Gun System (AGS), Guided Projectile Engineering Design Model and development of the propelling charge and Long Range Land Attack Projectile (LRLAP) including Risk Assessment. Also participated in Product development including shipboard integration of the Decoy Launching System (DLS). Prepared DLS documentation for SFR and WSESRB. Also assisted in the preparation of Proposal documentation to the US Navy including BOE’S, for DD21and DD(X). Competent in the usage of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and Internet. Classified Document Control (CDC) custodian for the DD(X) program. Combat Systems Coordinator for the Lupo Class Frigates F-21 and F-22. Responsible for the integration of the NA-10, Dardo and Otomat Fire Control Systems, including the navigational system to the Command and Control System. Correspondence with “overseas” vendors on a regular basis in order to define the system integration specifications. Also assigned to the CG-47 “Smart Ship” testing support team as CDRL coordinator.
