Daily Duties at Union Pacific:

Relief Supervisor-Managed between 10 and 30 workers on all shifts. Assigned daily tasks, created an end-of-shift progress report or “turn-over.” Screened units (locomotives) for use in consist. Developed daily work projections for both Union Pacific’s Burnham repair facility and North Yard service track in Denver. Researched a nightly 3-Minute Report for facility manager detailing the day’s activities. Technician- Performed routine maintenance and system tests on locomotives. Analyzed logic codes and on-board computer systems. Read schematics, performed troubleshooting, and replaced parts.
