Daily Duties at Birmingham United Soccer Association:

• Develop and implement all components of the competitive soccer program • Research, develop and implement specific systems of play as appropriate for the different age levels within the competitive program • Hire, train and assign all competitive coaches and skills trainers • Develop team budgets and set coaching pay rates • Coordinate and run competitive soccer tryouts for all boys and girls teams • Prepare players for placement in the ODP (Olympic Development Program) • Write curriculum for the weekly “SPARQ” training program • Schedule, organize and run the team camp for all 40+ competitive teams • Assist High School age players with all aspects of their college search • Oversee the proper placement of all competitive teams in developmentally appropriate leagues and tournaments
