Daily Duties at Optical Radiation Corporation :

Responsibilities for the first four divisions above. Originally hired as Senior Cost Accountant (for six years) then promoted to controller for ten years. Participated & oversaw all cost accounting reporting functions, gross profit analysis, purchase price and labor efficiency variances. Produced monthly P&Ls and associated packages for each division including a monthly P&L variance analysis. Created quarterly/annual divisional budgets, from operating expenses to P&Ls. Supported outside audits for each division's P&L and balance sheets, including sales tax audits. Supported cost and pricing on all government contracts, with both prime contractors and directly with the government, both fixed price and cost plus versions. Working knowledge of CAS, FAR and DCAA.
