Daily Duties at Gentiva:

Manage team of 30 employees, scheduling of clinicians on a daily basis to meet patient schedules and expectations. Accept new patient referrals, set-up admissions, verify insurance, monitor documentation of admissions, recertifications and resumptions of care based on medicare and medicaid qualifications based on conditions of participation. Education of new staff nurses, skills training, Report monitoring for timelines on recertifications and discharges. Auditing of charts for quality and counseling of employees to improve documentation and quality of services provided to customers. Complaint resolution for customers. Policy and procedure guideline adherence.
