Daily Duties at Electrolux:

Responsible for improving engineering and design of refrigerator cabinets, door hinges, and associated structural integrity. Managed other engineers and mentored 2 co-op students while in a leadership role for large-scale design/cost reduction projects. Led cross-functional team to analyze and design cabinet strengthening enhancements and hinging concepts to eliminate problematic door sag and cabinet weakness. Utilized ANSYS, Flotran and Catia ELFINI FEA programs to analyze current and prototype components and assemblies. Designed and implemented components and assemblies using plastic, metal, adhesive materials as necessary on Catia CAD system.
