Daily Duties at Tanner Health System:
Responsible for all financial reporting and results as well, 1- Established productivity standards for physicians, 2- Established collection standards and Procedures at the practices, 3- Established collection standards and served as the leader of the Central Business Office for billing & collection, 4 - Reviewed, monitored, educated and established standards for provider coding, 5- Worked with Managers to establish realistic budgets 6- Insured that any payor bonus's were achieved, established incentive bonus's for physicians (to align incentives w/ health system), 7- Prepared & presented financial statements monthly to Sr. leadership and physicians and staff as appropriate, 8- Established and maintained management reporting to measure successes or discover opportunities for improvement, 9- Priced, compared and assisted in selection process for a Practice Management System and Electronic Medical Record 10- Lead in contracting with payors and credentialing for optimal rates with commercial payors
