Daily Duties at Midtown Rentals:

Formulate pricing policies for merchandise according to profitability requirements. Maintain records of purchases, sales, and requisitions. Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and budget departments. Purchase store equipment and supplies in order to maintain and effective control over inventory. Determine the types and amounts of goods sold based on estimated and actual consumer demand for reordering when items reached a specified inventory level Examine merchandise to ensure that it was accurately priced, displayed and functioned as advertised. Structure and maintain a clean, organized, well stocked business. Examine incoming merchandise in order to assess the condition of each product and item. Plan and coordinate advertising campaigns and sales promotions and prepared merchandise displays. Plan budgets and authorize payments and merchandise returns. Researched and recommended new store sites, customer base growth and marketing Responsible for all aspects of hiring, training and supervising employees engaged in sales, reconciling cash receipts, and while performing services for customers. Maintain employee records such as personnel files, work schedules, determined salary increases based on job performance evaluations Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods while providing service by greeting, assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Enforce and implement safety, health, and security rules as set by company
