Daily Duties at Travis County Auditor's Office:
Oversaw all phases of financial audit functions and performed various duties and responsibilities as and Internal Auditor III in the Revenue and Internal Controls (RIC) Division of the Travis County Auditor’s Office. Audited all departments in my 12 plus years with the office, which oversaw a total budget of over $660 million and yearly revenues of over $450 million as the office of the County’s Chief Operating Officer. Performed all aspects of audits including but not limited to testing of receipts, revenue, expenditures and disbursements, liabilities, receivables, financial statement testing, cash handling, internal controls, compliance with local and state mandated statutes, EDP, payroll, and fixed assets.
