My responsibilities were to conduct on site inspections, accident investigations and reporting. Write monthly and daily safety reports, conduct toolbox talks, recordkeeping for clients to observe,attend safety meetings, exposure monitoring for worker protection against toxics and contaminants. I was the liaison safety officer with the Department of Environmental Protection Agency, OSHA, owner and industry representatives.
