- Diagnosed and managed acute and chronic illnesses in adult and children in an out-patient setting from October 1999 to October 2000 after which the department of medicine and pediatrics were split for better specialized management of patients. - Participated in ward rounds and in-patient care in both the adult medical ward and children's ward from October 1999 to October 2000 - Diagnosed and managed acute and chronic illnesses in children in an out-patient clinic setting from October 2000 to October 2002 - Participated in ward rounds and in-patient care in children's ward from October 2000 to October 2002 - Coordinated the call duty roster for the Department of Pediatrics - Facilitated receipt of radiological and laboratory investigation results - Executed other administrative duties as assigned to me by the Chief Medical Officer - Reviewed in-patients admitted to the emergency ward the previous night by the doctor on-call - Participated in weekly (academic) case presentations/clinical reviews - Carried out other duties as assigned to me by the Chief Medical Officer/Attending - Member of various committees and sub-committees in the Hospital
