Daily Duties at Arts & Technology Academy Public Charter School:
Coordinate and supervise all service to students with special needs(special education instruction, assessment, related services, etc.) Serve as liaison between ATA and OSSE, DCPS and other agencies and service providers to ensure that student needs are met in a timely manner;Ensure that all parent concerns regarding student support services are fully addressed;Ensure compliance with federal and district requirements in all special education and child-find matters(especially scheduling of annual IEP meetings, SEP meetings, eligibility and re-evaluation meetings, IST meetings, attendance meetings, manifestation meetings, due process hearings, suspension meetings, 504 Plan meetings, placement meetings and general meetings regarding academic and/or behavioral concerns
