Daily Duties at Makro Cash & Carry:

 Plan, monitor, control and direct all activities to ensure achievement of established sales targets and profit margins  Devise comprehensive plans to improve transaction times and work-flow  Formulation of action plans to bridge the gap between budget and actual results  Developing strategies to maximize business performance and profitability, promotional strategies and competitively dominant merchandising of assortments  Profit maximization, and customer satisfaction by meeting demographic needs  Supporting product sales and profit goals by studying business objectives and plans, profit and turnover goals, identifying and analyzing sales trends, studying floor space and floor plans  Understanding competitor’s strengths, weaknesses and strategies  Encourage and enhance the relationship between the internal sale force and the targeted customers  Ensure close coordination with the Buyers for the consistent and constant maintenance of active and effective merchandise assortment  Ensure compliance to established quality standards by providing continues training  Ensure optimum productivity levels of subordinates through conducting regular performance evaluations, and identifying and recommending development needs  Ensure work progress by monitoring and controlling personnel activities through development and implementation of employee work plans and performance measurement  Ensure good communication within the work team
