Daily Duties at Anthem (Wellpoint Inc):
Verify prescription information previously entered by technicians, verify no drug interactions with earlier medication. This step makes the pharmacist (me) legally responsible for the drug that will be sent to the member. Responsible for quality assurance of prescription information, identifying and notifying technicians with repeated errors. Handled company audix prescription messages from physicians at end of shift and entered data to put these orders into the queue for next morning.
