Daily Duties at J. M. Smucker:
Established, implemented, and audited safety and environmental programs at 200 union employee, lean manufacturing facility. Developed and implemented program to train hourly staff as leaders for an employee driven safety program designed to reduce injuries. Enhanced employee empowerment and accountability by addition of safety leaders to production teams. Trained core of 30 staff safety leaders to conduct audits, apply safety metrics, and conduct incident investigations.
